RN Registered Nurse - Shift Coordinator

Responsibilities

• Affirms daily patient access needs and ensures appropriate patient care.
• Oversees all aspects of nursing department operations.
• Delivers quality patient care and implements clinical objectives.
• Delegates duties to clinical staff based on assessed skills and abilities, ensuring proficiencies in job functions and processes.
• Collaborates with department leadership to update and follow processes.
• Participates in ongoing quality initiatives, auditing projects, and developing plans for improvement.
• Conducts hiring, training, directing, development, and evaluation of staff.

Requirements

• Licensure / Certification / Registration: Registered Nurse credentialed from the Michigan Board of Nursing obtained prior to hire date or job transfer date.
• PREFERRED: BLS Provider. American Heart Association or American Red Cross accepted.
• Education: Professional licensure/certification AND 1 year of cumulative job specific experience required.
