Responsibilities
- Maintains competency in OneCHRISTUS Competencies: Leader of Self, Leader of Others, or Leader of Leaders.
- Provides nursing care using the nursing process, addressing psychological, emotional, cultural, and social needs according to the ANA Scope and Standards of Practice.
- Administers medications and treatments following protocols, monitoring for side effects and effectiveness.
- Documents patient history, symptoms, medication, and care provided.
- Evaluates learning needs and educates patients, family members, and caregivers about their health and care.
Requirements
- Bachelor of Science Degree in Nursing, preferred.
- One year of experience in the related nursing specialty preferred.
- BLS certification required.
- RN license in state of employment or compact.
- Full-time work schedule from 7AM to 7PM.
