About the role

The Hillcrest Same Day Operating Room will be serving multiple services including Orthopedics, Urology, Pain Procedures, IR, ENT, Plastics and Vascular Service lines. This Peri-Operative Services RN will primarily work in the Hillcrest Same Day Operating Rooms but will cross-train to the Main OR.

Responsibilities

• Autonomous nursing care
• Scrub and circulate in ENT, GYN, Urology, Plastic, and/or Ortho
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
• Available for 1 weekend shift every 4 weeks and 1 major holiday
• Work various hours and locations based on business needs
• Floating to Main OR and taking call as needed

Requirements

• Graduate from an accredited school of nursing
• RN license issued by the State of California
• BLS/CPR certification at time of hire with commitment to get BART within six months of hire date
• Minimum three (3+) years Acute Care Operating Room RN experience
• Minimum three (3+) years Scrub RN experience

Qualifications

• BSN preferred
• Charge nurse experience preferred
• Lead experience and committee involvement preferred
• Main Operating Room in a Trauma Center experience preferred
• CNOR and advance certification preferred

Annual Full Pay Range: $190,342 - $190,342 (will be prorated if the appointment percentage is less than 100%)
Hourly Equivalent: $91.16 - $91.16
