Registered Nurse - Per Diem

About the role

Provide patient care using the nursing process, ensure patient rights and confidentiality, and evaluate the effectiveness of care.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate patient care across departments
• Maintain professional accountability
• Perform duties aligned with organizational standards and values

Requirements

• Graduate of an accredited nursing program
• Current RN licensure
• At least one year of recent bedside RN experience in Med Surg or two years in specialty areas such as ED or ICU

Qualifications

• Preferred: BSN degree
• Preferred: Epic experience

Certifications

• BLS required for Med Surg, Behavioral Health, and Women’s Health
• BLS and ACLS required for Critical Care
• BLS, ACLS, and PALS required for ED
• Additional certifications may be needed

Skills & Physical Demands

• Ability to lift 50 pounds
• Stand and walk for prolonged periods
• Perform physical tasks such as reaching, bending, and kneeling
