Job Duties
- Affirms plans, organizes, performs, and evaluates nursing activities to meet patient needs.
- Promotes adaptive responses of patients and families to achieve optimal care, safety, and satisfaction.
- Exhibits compassionate care during patient-nurse interactions.
- Collaborates with staff to coordinate patient care.
- Maintains qualifications to provide care on assigned nursing units.
- Ensures the best patient and family experience by optimizing interactions.
- Affirms physical, psychological, social, cultural, and spiritual needs of patients and families.
- Provides direct patient care, including treatments, medications, and diagnostic studies.
- Evaluates the effectiveness of nursing interventions and modifies the plan of care based on patient response.
- Collaborates with physicians, ancillary personnel, and other interdisciplinary team members to address patient needs.
- Solves problems, troubleshoots, and takes corrective actions in patient care and equipment handling.
- Participates in patient quality and safety education programs and other initiatives to enhance departmental and organizational quality and safety.
Qualifications
- Graduate from a Specialty Training Program-Nursing.
- Licensed Registered Nurse (RN) in the State of Pennsylvania.
Skills
Compassion, adaptability, teamwork, problem-solving, and effective communication are key skills required for this role.

We're excited to share opportunities on our newly renovated, state-of-the-art adult Advanced Acute Care Medical Unit (BP2) —designed to deliver compassionate, culturally sensitive, and clinically excellent care to a diverse adult patient population. This modern 20-bed unit features private rooms equipped with the latest technology to support both exceptional patient care and staff efficiency. You'll be supported by a visible and engaged leadership team, including our Operations Manager, Clinical Team Coordinator, and Nurse Educator, who are committed to your growth and success.
