RN Registered Nurse Multiple Shifts Available

About the role

As a Registered Nurse (RN) at Colonial Pines Healthcare Center, you will participate in and direct the delivery of patient care in accordance with facility clinical systems, regulatory requirements, and physician orders. You will ensure the highest quality services are delivered while creating a positive resident experience through compassionate healthcare.

Responsibilities

• Maintain appropriate nursing service objectives, goals, and standards of nursing practices consistent with licensure requirements and the Nurse Practice Act.
• Evaluate staffing patterns needed to meet resident needs in conjunction with the Director of Nursing.
• Administer medication and treatments as prescribed.
• Receive, transcribe, and implement physician’s orders.
• Implement and evaluate care plans.
• Identify and secure equipment supplies.
• Direct and oversee subordinates.
• Participate in duty assignments.
• Organize and coordinate subordinates, job tasks, and time allotments.
• Oversee and monitor the function and activities of subordinate staff.
• Evaluate staff performance and institute appropriate disciplinary or training actions.
• Monitor infection control compliance.
• Investigate and document accidents and incidents.
• Other duties as assigned.

Requirements

• Current, valid licensure as an RN required.
• Experience in long-term healthcare preferred.
• Management or supervisory experience required.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Strong written and verbal skills.
