RN - Registered Nurse - Local Traveler
Job Summary
The Registered Nurse (RN) is responsible for utilizing the nursing process to provide individualized nursing care to residents. They collaborate with residents, families, and other interdisciplinary colleagues to plan, implement, and evaluate care. They also coordinate care, assess residents, educate residents, and perform various nursing interventions. The RN may serve as a charge nurse and delegate tasks to licensed and unlicensed assistive personnel.
Qualifications
- Graduate from a nationally accredited nursing program preferred, including CCNE, ACEN, and NLN CNEA.
- Bachelor’s Degree in nursing preferred.
- Minimum of 18 years of age.
- Currently holds an unencumbered RN license with the State Board of Nursing.
- Obtains and maintains required department-specific competencies and certifications.

Department Details
- Mileage reimbursement provided for required travel.
- Premium Pay Rates: $5/hour premium on all hours worked.
- $1.25/hour weekend shift differential.
- $1.25/hour evening/night shift differential (6:00 PM – 6:00 AM).
Travel Requirements
Travel required to support multiple locations within a 150-mile radius of the permanent address. Mileage reimbursement provided for required travel.
Experience Requirements
- 3 months experience in Long Term Care required (6 months preferred).
Scheduling Requirements
- Minimum of 30 hours per month.
- One weekend shift per month.
Salary Range
$32.00 - $48.00
