RN Registered Nurse - Inpatient Rehab - 36 Weekly Hours - Day Shift

General Summary

Henry Ford St John Hospital’s Inpatient Rehab department is a 36-bed unit specializing in the rehabilitation of trauma and stroke patients with varying degrees of medical complexities. Our nurses have an average patio ratio of 5:1, and the support of a multidisciplinary team including Occupational Therapists, Physical Therapists, Speech Therapists, Registered Nurses, Patient Care Techs, and Rehab Techs. We have the great privilege of caring for patients throughout their stay (typically 5-10 days) and witnessing remarkable healing.

Education/Experience

• BSN preferred
• Graduation from an accredited school of nursing
• Clinical knowledge and analytical abilities necessary to formulate effective nursing care plans
• Ability to perform a wide variety of professional nursing services
• Ability to effectively communicate with patients, families, and hospital personnel

Qualifications

• Current licensure by the Michigan State Board of Nursing
• One year or more of prior nursing experience preferred
