Role

We are seeking a dedicated RN – Registered Nurse to join our team. The Registered Nurse is responsible for the comprehensive nursing care of residents in the community, as well as effectively communicating with team members, families, physicians, and allied health professionals.

Responsibilities

• Ensure provision of quality nursing care in accordance with Federal, State, and Company requirements based on resident acuity.
• Make daily rounds to each resident to ascertain condition and comfort.
• Follow safety policies in performing nursing care, assuring resident safety.
• Follow infection control guidelines and initiate procedures to protect residents from injury and infection.
• Assess and evaluate resident changes in condition and institute appropriate interventions.
• Communicate with physicians as indicated by resident needs or status and assure follow‑through; maintain hand‑off communications with the on‑coming shift regarding resident care needs.
• Oversee direct‑care staff and ensure staff complete assigned tasks and cares.
• Speak, read, and write English in an understandable manner.
• Apply principles of basic general math.
