RN - Registered Nurse - Full and Part Time

About the role

The Registered Nurse (RN) is responsible for the comprehensive nursing care of residents in the community, as well as effectively communicating with team members, families, physicians, and allied health professionals.

Responsibilities

• Ensure provision of quality nursing care in accordance with federal, state, and company requirements based on acuity of residents.
• Make daily rounds to each resident to ascertain the resident’s condition and comfort.
• Follow safety policies in performing nursing care, assuring resident safety.
• Follow infection control guidelines.
• Initiate procedures to protect residents from injury and infection.
• Assess and evaluate resident change of condition and institute appropriate interventions.
• Communicate with the physician as indicated by resident needs or status and assure follow-through; maintain hand-off communications with oncoming shift regarding resident care needs.
• Oversee direct care staff and ensure staff complete tasks and cares as assigned.
• Speak, read, and write the English language in an understandable manner.
• Apply principles of basic general math.

Schedule

We offer 4, 8, and 12-hour shifts for our RN and LPN positions. Full-time (30+ hours weekly) and part-time (up to 29 hours weekly) positions are available.

• Days: 6:00 AM – 2:30 PM
• Evenings: 2:00 PM – 10:30 PM
• Nights: 10:00 PM – 6:30 AM
