RN - Registered Nurse - Endoscopy (Days Pool)

About the role

This is a pool position at Winter Haven Hospital, located at 200 Avenue F NE, Winter Haven, FL 33881. The role requires in-person attendance and includes on-call responsibilities.

Responsibilities

• Independently care for a sub-specialty group of patients consistently using the nursing process and clinical standards.
• Delegate appropriate patient care activities to other members of the health care team.
• Maintain professional accountability and development according to best practice standards set forth by a nationally recognized specialty organization.
• Perform the role of preceptor and charge nurse when assigned.

Requirements

• RN (Registered Nurse) License.
• Diploma, Associate’s, Bachelor's or higher degree in Nursing.
• BLS certification.
• ACLS certification with the American Heart Association preferred.
• PALS certification with the American Heart Association preferred.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 18 months of RN experience.
• Minimum of one year of Endoscopy RN experience.
• Required experience: 1 year acute care experience or 1 year interventional/procedural experience, or 6 months RN acute care or interventional/procedural experience with prior LPN experience and completed competency assessment.

Schedule

Shift: 6:00 AM - 4:30 PM (Days). Weekend work: Occasional. On-call: Yes.
