RN, Registered Nurse | Emergency Services | Day/Night Rotation
About the role
Emplify Health by Gundersen is seeking a part-time RN to join their Emergency Services team. The department is a Level II ACS-verified Trauma Center that serves over 68,000 patients annually.
Responsibilities
- Provide direct care to patients of all ages, including infants and adults
- Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team of Providers, RNs, Paramedics, EMTs, Respiratory Therapists, Health Unit Coordinators, and Social Workers
- Work in a high-energy, patient-centered environment with 24-hour access to laboratory, X-ray, and surgical services
- Participate in a Stroke Center with 24/7 neuro-interventional capabilities and a Chest Pain Center with 24/7 interventional cardiac catheterization lab capabilities
- Be a part of a Lantern Award recipient department known for excellence in metrics and patient experience
Requirements
- A minimum of an Associate's degree in Nursing
- An active Wisconsin or multi-state RN license upon start
- Current Infant-Adult Basic Life Support for Health Care Providers
- Ability to provide compassionate care to patients of all ages
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a team environment
- Prior acute RN experience preferred
Qualifications
- Minimum of 2 years of relevant experience preferred

Pay and Schedule
- Part-time, 60 hours biweekly (0.75 FTE)
- 12-hour day/night rotation (7a-7p, 7p-7a)
- Every third weekend and holiday rotation
