About the role

Emplify Health by Gundersen is seeking a part-time RN to join their Emergency Services team. The department is a Level II ACS-verified Trauma Center that serves over 68,000 patients annually.

What You'll Do

• Play a direct role in providing care to patients of all ages, including infants and adults.
• Work as part of a multidisciplinary team of Providers, RNs, Paramedics, EMTs, Respiratory Therapists, Health Unit Coordinators, and Social Workers.
• Provide care in 45 total patient exam rooms, including 10 Urgent Care rooms, 5 resuscitation/trauma/critical care rooms, and 3 dedicated Behavioral Health rooms.
• Access to 24-hour laboratory, X-ray, and surgical services.
• Part of a Stroke Center with 24/7 neuro-interventional capabilities and a Chest Pain Center with 24/7 interventional cardiac catheterization lab capabilities.
• Recognized for excellence through metrics and patient experience.

What's Available

• Part-time position, 60 hours biweekly (0.75 FTE).
• 10-hour night shifts from 5p-3a, every third weekend and holiday rotation.
• Starting pay of $38.01 per hour and up, based on years of experience, with generous shift/weekend/holiday differentials.

What You'll Need

• A minimum of an Associate's degree in Nursing.
• An active Wisconsin or multi-state RN license upon start.
• Current Infant-Adult Basic Life Support for Health Care Providers.
• Ability to provide compassionate care to patients of all ages.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a team environment.
• Prior acute RN experience preferred.
