About the role
The LifeScape Specialty Hospital is a unique pediatric rehabilitation facility offering 24-hour specialized care for children with complex medical needs. This role involves working in a collaborative, interdisciplinary, family-centered environment.
Responsibilities
- Performs nursing tasks for pediatric patients on both medically complex and inpatient rehabilitation units.
- Completes pediatric assessments, respiratory care, trach care, suctioning, nebulizer treatments, and ventilator use.
- Communicates a clear picture of a child’s health and any changes in their status.
- Serves as a primary nurse within a specific unit.
- Administers medications and enteral feedings.
- Promotes health and safety.
- Buils relationships with long-term patients and their families.
Requirements
- Graduate of an accredited Registered Nurse (RN) program.
- Valid South Dakota RN Licensure.
- Prior nursing and/or direct care experience preferred.
- All positions require a clear background check and drug screen upon conditional offer.
