(RN) Registered Nurse - Children's Specialty Hospital

About the role

The LifeScape Specialty Hospital is a unique pediatric rehabilitation facility offering 24-hour specialized care for children with complex medical needs. This role involves working in a collaborative, interdisciplinary, family-centered environment.

Responsibilities

• Performs nursing tasks for pediatric patients on both medically complex and inpatient rehabilitation units.
• Completes pediatric assessments, respiratory care, trach care, suctioning, nebulizer treatments, and ventilator use.
• Communicates a clear picture of a child’s health and any changes in their status.
• Serves as a primary nurse within a specific unit.
• Administers medications and enteral feedings.
• Promotes health and safety.
• Buils relationships with long-term patients and their families.

Requirements

• Graduate of an accredited Registered Nurse (RN) program.
• Valid South Dakota RN Licensure.
• Prior nursing and/or direct care experience preferred.
• All positions require a clear background check and drug screen upon conditional offer.
