About the role
The (RN) Registered Nurse provides supervision of staff and safeguards the health, safety, and welfare of all Residents under their care by following applicable laws, regulations, and established nursing policies and procedures.
Responsibilities
- Provides quality nursing care to Residents/residents in an environment that promotes their rights, dignity, and freedom of choice.
- Supervises G.N.A’s and all subordinate staff, checking their work to ensure assignments have been completed.
- Administers all parenteral, intramuscular, and sub-cutaneous injections.
- Administers medications within the scope of practice of the RN Licensure.
- Maintains a current report of narcotics received and used.
- Reviews daily the documentation of the dispensing of the controlled substances and narcotics.
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Graduated from an accredited nursing program.
- Registered with the state as an RN / Registered Nurse.
