Responsibilities
- The RN assists physician in the care and teaching of patients. (Radiation Oncology Division)
- Customer Service/Patient Assistance System & Documentation
- Telephone Triage
Qualifications
- A valid Florida RN license is required.
- CPR certification are required. (AHA preferred)
- BLS required upon hire or must be obtained within 30 days of employment (FCS will provide BLS course within first 30 days).
- Experience in radiation therapy preferred.
- Experience with hematology/oncology /radiation oncology patients in a clinic or hospital is preferred.
- Ability to assess patient needs and condition is essential.
- Must have strong critical thinking skills, as well as the ability to react calmly and effectively in emergency situations.
- Fluency in the English languageexcellent oral, written communication AND computer skills is required.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Word, Excel, Power Point, and Outlook required.
- Strong EMR skills needed.
