About the role
Serve as a key member of a small, interdisciplinary team at Plumas District Hospital (PDH), providing comprehensive nursing care to patients enrolled in the behavioral health program.
Responsibilities
- Collaborate with a psychiatric physician, social worker, and Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) to provide holistic nursing care.
- Engage with the local community to deliver educational presentations, workshops, and seminars on mental health issues.
- Contribute to enhancing the behavioral health program through insights and feedback on patient care processes, program development, and quality improvement initiatives.
- Participate in regular team meetings to discuss patient progress, treatment strategies, and community outreach efforts.
Requirements
- Registered Nurse (RN) license in the state of practice.
- Graduation from a state-approved school of nursing.
- Associates degree or higher preferred.
- Prior psychiatric nursing experience is a plus.

Pay
$46.18 - $65.84 per hour based on experience and qualifications.
Schedule
Full-time, Monday-Friday, no weekends, no on-call shifts.
