About the role

Montrose Behavioral Health Hospital is hiring Registered Nurses for full-time day and night shifts. Pay rates range from $40 to $50 per hour, depending on experience. Full Time Night shift offers a bonus of $10,000, while Full Time Day shift offers a bonus of $5,000.

Responsibilities

• Assess patients' physical and behavioral health needs.
• Develop and implement nursing care plans.
• Maintain medical records and educate patients and their families.
• Provide nursing care and services according to state and facility policies.
• Ensure physicians’ orders are correctly documented and communicated.
• Accurately administer medications and document controlled substance administrations.
• Complete admission and discharge processes efficiently and accurately.
• Communicate with patients in a therapeutic and professional manner.
• Maintain professional boundaries and provide therapeutic rapport.

Requirements

• At least one year of behavioral health experience.
• Graduated from an accredited school of nursing.
• Current Registered Nurse (RN) license as required by the state of employment.
• One year of nursing experience preferred, especially in psychiatric, mental, behavioral, or substance abuse settings.
• CPR and de-escalation and restraint certification required (training provided).

Education/Licensure/Experience/Skills

• Must have a current Registered Nurse (RN) license.
• Eligible to practice nursing in accordance with state requirements.
• One year of nursing experience recommended, particularly in psychiatric, mental, behavioral, or substance abuse settings.
• CPR and de-escalation and restraint certification required (training available).
