RN PRN II - Operating Room

Location: Johns Hopkins Howard County Medical Center, Columbia, MD 21044

Schedule: Day Shift, Casual / On Call. Must work 6 shifts per month (call shifts count towards required shifts). Shift options: 8 or 12 hour days (6:30am to 3pm or 6:30am to 7pm).

About the role

Join the Operating Room team at Johns Hopkins Howard County Medical Center, an acute care community hospital with 262 beds and part of the prestigious Johns Hopkins Health System. The OR department includes 11 operating rooms specializing in ortho/spine, robotics, and general surgeries.

Qualifications

• Associate’s degree in nursing (ADN) (Required)
• Bachelor of Science in nursing (BSN) (Preferred)
• Applicants with an associate degree in nursing will be considered but must matriculate into a Bachelor of Nursing program per nursing guidelines
• RN - Registered Nurse License (Required)
• CPR - Basic CPR certification (Required)
• Minimum six (6) months of nursing experience (Required)
• 2 years of OR nursing experience (Preferred)

Pay

Salary Range: $37.13/hour - $57.87/hour. Compensation is based on equity and experience for roles of similar scope and responsibility.
