About the role
This role is for a Registered Nurse (RN) - Pre Procedure Phase II working on the FT evening shift (10am-10pm) with no call responsibilities, including weekend rotation and holiday coverage.
Responsibilities
- Utilize the nursing process to assess, plan, implement, and evaluate patient care for pre- and postoperative patients in a surgical outpatient setting
- Conduct patient assessments
- Gather medical histories
- Coordinate with anesthesia
- Provide direct care across all age groups
- Ensure adherence to hospital policies and standards of care
Qualifications
- Graduate of an accredited nursing program
- Current RN licensure
- Minimum of 2 years RN experience
- BLS certification
Preferred qualifications
- BSN
- ACLS certification
- PALS certification
