Responsibilities

• Conducting comprehensive patient assessments and recognizing subtle clinical changes, using your judgment to intervene early and advocate for your patients
• Providing safe, evidence-based medications, treatments, and hands-on care grounded in strong clinical judgment
• Serving as a clinical partner to physicians and advanced providers, offering insight that supports timely, well-coordinated care decisions
• Providing clear, compassionate education to patients and families so they feel informed, supported, and prepared for the next phase of care
• Ensuring accurate and timely documentation within the electronic medical record to promote continuity and patient safety
• Contributing your voice during interdisciplinary rounds, helping drive seamless communication and smooth transitions of care
• Taking an active role in a highly collaborative team environment where shared accountability and teamwork directly impact outcomes

Qualifications

• Hold an active New Jersey Registered Nurse license in good standing
• Have a current American Heart Association BLS certification
• Hold a Bachelor’s degree in Nursing (strongly preferred)
• Have prior patient care experience
• Be comfortable with electronic medical record systems (EMR) like EPIC
• Have at least 3-5 years of hospital experience
• Have critical care or PACU/Pre-Post Surgical experience

Pay

The pay range for this position is $47.85 - $71.72 per hour.

Schedule

This role is available on a 8:00 a.m. to 8:30 p.m., schedule consistent Monday through Friday with rotating weekends, holidays & on call required.
