RN - PER DIEM POOL

Responsibilities

This opportunity is for a night shift PRN. We are seeking Registered Nurses with an interest or background in behavioral health to join our team and to support our patients in one of our specialty care programs: Inpatient Crisis Stabilization, Substance Abuse, Co-Occurring Disorders.

Qualifications

• Education: Associates of Nursing; BSN preferred.
• Licensure: Unencumbered license as a Registered Nurse through the Oregon State Board of Nursing. Maintains a valid driver’s license, preferred.
• Additional Requirements:
  • Demonstrate core nursing knowledge/competencies including but not limited to medication administration.
  • Ability to read, comprehend, and execute policies, procedures, treatment plans, and clinical standards.
  • Ability to provide succinct and effective oral and written communications to co-workers and patients.
  • Demonstrate basic computer literacy.
  • Ability to make sound, independent judgements based on scientific and/or ethical principles.
  • Knowledge of behavior management strategies to provide care for persons with psychiatric and/or substance use disorders (preferred).
• Training: Must successfully complete Handle with Care, CPR and Service Excellence within 30 days of employment and recertify at the required intervals.
