RN PCU Resource Float Pool Nights

About the role

Provides proficient, direct patient care in an intensive care setting, ensuring patient safety, optimizing outcomes, and managing resources effectively.

Responsibilities

• Responds promptly to adverse symptoms indicated by monitoring and life support equipment.
• Handles life-threatening situations using established nursing protocols.
• Delivers critical care to high-acuity patients in a technically complex environment.
• Reacts decisively and maintains composure in stressful scenarios.
• Utilizes critical thinking and judgment to work independently in a fast-paced setting.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited nursing program and licensed as a Registered Nurse (RN).
• Minimum of 6 months ICU or PCU nursing experience or completion of a fellowship program.
• Current BLS and ACLS certifications through recognized organizations.
• Strong critical thinking, decisiveness, and ability to work with minimal supervision.

This role is onsite, requiring night shifts.
