RN Patient Accommodation

About the role

The RN - Patient Accommodation is responsible for ensuring the daily operations of the department. Duties include securing bed placement, utilizing clinical and critical thinking skills to admit non-emergent patients, and collaborating with other disciplines and departments to make appropriate bed assignments and transfer arrangements. This position may also handle additional duties within the scope of the role.

Responsibilities

• Secure bed placement for non-emergent patients
• Utilize clinical and critical thinking skills to admit patients
• Collaborate with other disciplines and departments for appropriate bed assignments and transfer arrangements
• Audit patient demographics and financial information for accuracy
• Handle additional duties as assigned

Requirements

• Education: Degree in Nursing required, Bachelor’s degree preferred
• Experience: Minimum 5 years broad clinical experience preferred
• Licenses/Certifications: Active RN licensure required, BLS required

• Knowledge: Excellent knowledge of MS Office and familiarity with relevant computer software
