RN PACU

About the Role

Southcoast Health is searching for a talented Certified Medical Assistant to join the PACU team at St. Luke's Hospital in New Bedford, MA. This role involves coordinating total nursing care for patients, participating in patient and family teaching, and providing leadership by working cooperatively with ancillary nursing and other patient team personnel in maintaining standards for professional nursing practice within the patient care unit.

Responsibilities

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited School of Nursing or equivalent
• Current RN Licensure in the Commonwealth of Massachusetts
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification
• Three (3) months experience preferred
• Previous PACU or ICU experience preferred - minimum of 2 years
• ACLS, PALS, TNCC preferred
• Must be fully vaccinated against seasonal Influenza and the COVID 19 virus or be exempt from the requirement for medical or personal reasons by signing a statement certifying you are choosing to be exempt from vaccination once hired

Pay

Pay rate determined based on level of experience. Pay range: $42.37 - $77.81 per hour.

Schedule

24 hours per week. Day/Evening shift with on-call rotation (weeknights, weekends and holiday). Hours: 7:30am - 4:00pm with variable start time.
