About the role
The Outpatient Registered Nurse (RN) at Marshfield Medical Center plays a crucial role in providing specialized care for patients undergoing various cardiovascular, vascular, electrophysiology, and interventional radiology procedures. This position requires expertise in procedural care and patient education.
Responsibilities
- Utilizes the nursing process to provide individualized care to patients in outpatient settings.
- Facilitates health care services for patients, working collaboratively with the health care team.
- Coordinates care, assesses patients, educates patients, and implements various nursing interventions.
- Collaborates with other healthcare professionals, including physicians, to plan, implement, and evaluate outpatient care.
- Demonstrates competency and practices within the full scope of nursing expertise and utilizes appropriate age and population-specific standards.
- Fulfills the scopes and standards of nursing practice as outlined by the Nurse Practice Act and Administrative Rules in the state of practice and licensure.
Requirements
- Graduate from an accredited nursing program, preferably including AACN, ACEN, or NLN CNEA.
- Currently holds an unencumbered RN license with the State Board of Nursing.
- Obtains and maintains required department-specific licensure, competencies, and certifications.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s Degree in nursing preferred.
Skills
- Specialized experience in multiple procedural specialties.
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
- Ability to handle stressful situations and provide compassionate care.

Pay
$32.00 - $48.00 per hour, with a $7,500 sign-on bonus available for qualified applicants.
Schedule
Varying shifts, primarily day shifts between 5:30am-6:30pm, with no nights or weekends.
