About the role

Cleveland Clinic Euclid Hospital offers a 5th Floor with 22 beds, featuring general, urology, and gynecologic procedures. This position involves assisting fellow caregivers in delivering exceptional care, interacting directly with patients, families, and visitors, and offering healthcare information.

Responsibilities

• Assist fellow caregivers in delivering exceptional care
• Interact directly with patients, families, and visitors
• Offer healthcare information as needed
• Provide direct nursing care
• Implement and monitor patient care plans
• Maintain and update patient records
• Note and carry out physician and nursing orders
• Assess and coordinate patients' discharge needs

Requirements

• Graduate from an accredited school of professional nursing
• Current state licensure as a Registered Nurse (RN)
• One year current acute care RN experience in a hospital setting
• Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) preferred

Qualifications

• Basic Life Support (BLS) Certification through the American Heart Association (AHA) or American Red Cross
• Corrected vision and hearing to normal range
• Exposure to communicable diseases and/or body fluids
• Medium Work physical demands
• Follows standard precautions using personal protective equipment as required

Pay

• Minimum hourly: $35.50
• Maximum hourly: $55.60

Schedule

• Nights from 7:00 p.m. – 7:30 a.m.
• Every other weekend and holiday rotation
