Registered Nurse (RN): Ortho Med/Surg

About the role

Aurora West Allis Medical Center, Department 34413, is seeking a Full-time Registered Nurse (RN) in the Med Surg: IU 3 Orthopedics department. The position is Benefits Eligible with a 36-hour workweek, rotating 12-hour shifts, and includes every third weekend rotation and 50% holiday rotation.

Responsibilities

• Provide and coordinate comprehensive patient care through the nursing process to deliver safe, therapeutic care in accordance with established standards, policies, and procedures.
• Use evidence-based practice, clinical decision making, compassion, and skills communication while leading efforts to create the safest patient environment and the best patient experience across the continuum.
• Play a pivotal role in providing and coordinating comprehensive patient care through the nursing process to deliver safe, therapeutic care in accordance with established standards, policies, and procedures.
• Lead efforts to create the safest patient environment and the best patient experience across the continuum.

Requirements

• Completion of an accredited or approved program in nursing.
• Newly licensed RN’s and experienced RN’s welcome.
• Registered Nurse license issued by the state in which the teammate practices.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) for Healthcare Providers certification issued by the American Heart Association.

Pay

$38.20 - $57.30 per hour.

Schedule

36 hours per week, 12- hour shifts: (1900-0730) Every third weekend rotation, 50% holiday rotation.
