About the role
We are seeking a dynamic Registered Nurse to lead the provision of patient care using the nursing process within the framework of the Nurse Practice Act, ANA Code for Nurses, and Scope & Standards of Practice. You will be responsible for effectively delegating, directing, and assisting licensed and ancillary team members, ensuring quality patient outcomes, and demonstrating sensitivity to cultural, ethnic, and religious diversity.
Responsibilities
- Affirmatively assesses learning needs and implements teaching strategies appropriate for diverse patient populations.
- Effectively communicates, delegates, and manages nursing team resources, serving as a leader and partner on the interdisciplinary team.
- Evaluates and promotes changes to achieve optimal patient outcomes using data, information, and knowledge.
- Adapts behavior to specific patient populations, ensuring privacy, clear communication, and addressing safety concerns.
- Performs other related duties as required.
Requirements
- Current RN license in state of practice.
- Certified Basic Life Support (BLS) from the American Heart Association.
- Preferred: Certification in Clinical Specialty Area.
Qualifications
- Registered Nurse diploma.
- Associate or bachelor's degree in nursing preferred.
