About the role

Join our Devereux Massachusetts team and make a positive impact on the lives of children and adults with Autism Spectrum Disorders and other psychological, emotional, and behavioral disorders. We provide supportive settings in comfortable home environments and ensure that individuals have access to services appropriate to their developmental level, cognitive, emotional, and social abilities.

Responsibilities

• Use expertise in the field to assess individuals, collect and document health status, administer medications, and assist with treatment plans.
• Communicate information related to medical care and behavior with the treatment team, including the psychiatrist.
• Oversight of assigned case load of individuals residing in group homes, collaborating with team members, external agencies, and/or guardians.

Requirements

• Must be 21 years of age or older.
• A valid driver's license is required.
• Graduated from an accredited school of nursing and be a current Licensed Practical Nurse or Registered Nurse in the State of Massachusetts.
• Previous experience with children and adolescents preferred.

Qualifications

• Must pass a background check.
• Must attend a 2-week paid orientation in Rutland, MA.

Skills

Strong communication skills are required as communicating information related to the individual's medical care and behavior with the treatment team including the psychiatrist is key.

Pay

• RN pay range: $41.62 to $45.03 per hour.
• LPN pay range: $31.50 to $34.21 per hour.
• Pay depends on education and experience.
• $3000 Sign-on Bonus.

Schedule

• Tuesday-Saturday 7am-3pm, with some flexibility.
