About the Role

Mosaic in Grand Island is seeking a compassionate Registered Nurse (RN) or Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) to join our healthcare team and make a tangible difference in the lives of people with intellectual and developmental disabilities. As a nurse here, you aren't just running from room to room—you are a vital advocate, a teacher, and a cornerstone of a supportive community.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate holistic care by reviewing healthcare services and medications for a dedicated group of individuals
• Provide guidance and training to direct support staff on healthcare needs and safety as a clinical mentor
• Advocate by collaborating with physicians and families to ensure the highest quality of life for those we serve
• Build relationships by truly getting to know the people you support, celebrating their milestones and supporting them through challenges

Requirements

• Active RN or LPN license in Nebraska
• At least one year of general nursing experience
• Valid driver's license
• CPR/First Aid certification (can obtain at agency after hire)
• Ability to travel between locations and work a flexible schedule to meet the needs of the people we serve
• Comfortable being on the move—walking, standing, and ability to safely transfer up to 50 pounds when needed
