Role Overview
The Operating Room Registered Nurse (RN) is an experienced perioperative professional proficient in multiple surgical service lines, providing high-quality, age-specific patient care. They develop effective relationships with team members and communicate patient conditions clearly to physicians, anesthesia, staff, patients, and families. The RN performs safe operative nursing care following organizational policies and professional standards.
Key Responsibilities
- Float between at least three Ambulatory Surgery Center locations based on staffing needs
- Work across various sites within the South Region (Main Campus, Fort Bend, Bay Area)
- Adapt to varied shifts and case volumes
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to ensure optimal patient outcomes
Qualifications
- Associate of Science in Nursing (ASN) and active Texas RN license or compact license
- 3+ years RN experience in Operating Room, including multiple service lines
- Experience in ASC or hospital settings
- Basic computer skills
- Ability to travel between locations and work varied shifts
Preferred Skills & Certifications
- Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN)
- ACLS and PALS certifications
- Experience in multi-site or float roles
Compensation & Benefits
Hourly pay ranges from $35.00 to $62.50, depending on experience and qualifications.
