About the role

The Operating Room Registered Nurse (RN) provides expert perioperative care across multiple surgical service lines in a multidisciplinary environment. The RN functions within the ASC Float Team, working across at least three locations based on staffing needs, and may work varied shifts and hours. The role emphasizes delivering equitable, high-quality care and professional growth within a supportive environment.

Responsibilities

• Deliver high-quality, age-specific patient care
• Communicate effectively with physicians, anesthesia, staff, patients, and families
• Perform safe operative nursing according to organizational policies and standards such as AORN and ASPAN

Qualifications

• Associate of Science in Nursing (ASN)
• Active Texas RN license or compact license
• 3+ years of OR experience in multiple service lines
• Basic computer skills

Preferred qualifications

• BSN
• ACLS
• PALS
• Experience in ASC or hospital settings, especially across multiple sites

Skills

• Adaptability

Pay & benefits

• Compensation: $35.00 to $62.50 per hour
