Responsibilities

• Assesses and diagnoses patient and family needs to provide quality care.
• Develops and communicates a plan of care for each patient in collaboration with the patient, family, and significant others.
• Implements medical plans of care, nursing interventions, and procedures using necessary skills and judgment.
• Evaluates identified problems, care provided, and patient responses to ensure overall quality of care.
• Maintains up-to-date and accurate documentation of nursing care provided.
• Pursues professional growth and development, maintaining current knowledge, certification, and licensure per hospital policy.
• Serves as a role model for current and new staff.
• Attends required safety training programs and understands responsibilities related to general and specific job-related safety, including following Hospital Exposure Control Plans for Bloodborne and Airborne Pathogens.
• Demonstrates respect and regard for the dignity of all patients, families, visitors, and fellow employees.
• Serves as a team member to meet departmental goals and objectives.

Requirements

• Education: Associate's of Nursing [Required]
• Bachelor's of Nursing [Preferred]
• Field Of Study in Nursing
• Work Experience: 1+ years related experience [Preferred]
• Licenses And Certifications: Registered Nurse (RN) [Required], Basic Life Support - CPR Cert (BLS) [Required], Advanced Cardiac Life Support Cert (ACLS) [Required], Advanced Burn Life Support (ABLS) [Preferred], Certified Nurse Operating Room (CNOR) [Preferred], Hip and Knee Replacement (HKR) [Preferred]

Qualifications

• Education: Associate's of Nursing [Required]
• Bachelor's of Nursing [Preferred]

• Work Experience: 1+ years related experience [Preferred]
