About the role
The Registered Nurse is a professional who coordinates intraoperative care of the patient and shares information to support both pre- and postoperative care.
Responsibilities
- Coordinate planned nursing care with other health care team members.
- Monitor the sterile environment.
- Assist anesthesia, scrub, and medical personnel to ensure a smooth operation.
- Prepare the sterile environment.
- Assist in proper preparation of supplies, medication, equipment, and instrumentation involved in patient care.
- Participate in patient care and education conferences.
Requirements
- Graduated from an accredited school of nursing.
- Currently licensed in the State as a Registered Nurse.
- Minimum of two years surgical experience desired.
- Additional experience in medical/surgical nursing and "scrub" experience preferred.
Pay
The base salary range for this position is between the low and high end of Specialty Care Networks’ salary range. Exact salary will depend on factors including geographical location, skills, work experience, market conditions, internal equity, responsibility factor, span of control, education, training, and qualifications.
