Schedule

• Full time
• Day shift
• 4 ten-hour shifts (Monday–Friday with one rotating day off)
• Start time: 7:30–7:40 AM
• End time: 6:00 PM (Monday & Tuesday), 4:30 PM (Wednesday–Friday)

Responsibilities

• Ensure the appropriate use and stewardship of medical supplies and equipment to support patient safety and operational efficiency
• Communicate effectively with patients, families, physicians, and staff, maintaining professional relationships and promoting a positive environment
• Assess patients and respond promptly to changes in their condition; manage emergency patient situations, including codes
• Administer medications and treatments as prescribed, ensuring patient safety and adherence to protocols
• Educate patients and families about treatment plans and care procedures
• Collaborate with healthcare team members to develop and implement patient care plans
• Monitor and document patient progress and treatment outcomes
• Perform diagnostic tests and interpret results to inform patient care
• Maintain accurate and detailed patient records
• Educate patients and families on health conditions, procedures, and care plans, ensuring understanding and compliance based on assessed learning needs
• Participate in continuous education and training to stay current with nursing practices
• Follow CDC isolation guidelines, demonstrate appropriate use of PPE, perform hand hygiene according to policy, and enforce safety regulations

Requirements

• Associate's of Nursing (Required)
• Bachelor's in Nursing (Preferred)
• Graduate from an accredited school of nursing
• 1+ years of experience in acute care nursing (Required)
• Oncology experience (Preferred)
• Registered Nurse (RN) license (Required)
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification (Required)
• Oncology Certified Nurse (OCN) certification (Preferred)
• Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) certification (Preferred)
• Clinical nursing expertise in oncology care (Required)
• Good communication skills, both written and verbal (Required)
• Computer proficiency (Required)

Pay

$31.53 - $52.24 per hour
