About the role

This position involves providing direct patient care in an outpatient oncology setting, including assessment, diagnosis, planning, implementation, and evaluation of nursing activities. The role emphasizes patient and family-centered care, education on illness management, medication administration, and post-treatment care. It requires developing and documenting individualized care plans, collaborating with the healthcare team, and ensuring effective communication across care continuum. The nurse assesses physical, psychosocial, and emotional needs, respecting patient values, culture, and preferences. Qualifications

• Nursing Diploma/Associate's Degree required; Bachelor's Degree preferred
• Current RN license
• Previous oncology experience and chemo certification are preferred
