Job Details
Job Summary and Responsibilities
- Develop, implement, coordinate and maintain the occupational health programs.
- Serve as the System's expert resource in assuring knowledge and compliance with all governmental agency regulations dealing with safety and wellness in the workplace.
- Maintain OSHA/BBP/Injury logs & exposures.
- Advocate for the health and safety of all staff.
- Coordinate the W/C program and activities designed to prevent, assess and treat work-related injuries and hazardous exposures.
- Facilitate case management of workers' comp claims, file First Report of Injury after reviewing/investigating incidents.
- Review visit notes to coordinate back to work (work-related and non-work-related)/light duty with managers and interact with managers/HRD for associates who can't be released to work.
- Direct the activity of the Occupational Health Technician as needed.
- May involve travel or remote support for geographical team(s).

Qualifications
- Associate degree in nursing, required.
- Bachelor degree in nursing (BSN), preferred.
- One year of clinical RN experience required.
- Prior Occupational Health experience is preferred or working knowledge of Occupational Health to include blood borne pathogens; immunizations; communicable diseases, knowledge of workers' compensation procedures and regulations.
- RN license to practice (in state of employment as applicable), required.
- Basic Life Support (BLS) from the American Heart Association (AHA), required.
