Job Summary and Responsibilities

• Guides patients through the labor and childbirth process, focusing on the safety of the mother and baby.
• Works in Obstetrics - triages patients or performs screening exams on walk-ins, or guides patients through a routine induction and delivery.
• Makes rounds to monitor the mother’s dilation progress and keeps close watch on the baby’s fetal heart rate.
• Coaches the mother during the delivery process and provides updates and support to the patient’s partner and loved ones.
• Assesses antepartal, intrapartal, and postpartal patients for risk factors, normal progress, symptoms of problems, and continuously monitors.
• Detects changes in symptoms, health, or pain and takes action as necessary.
• Quickly and accurately assesses patient care needs.
• Responds to life-saving situations based on nursing standards, policies, procedures, and protocol.
• Sets priorities in the plan of care based on assessed needs and anticipates personnel, supplies, and equipment required to care for patients based on assessed needs.
• Collaborates with providers to provide exceptional care.
• Administers medications, IV therapy, and treatments in compliance with policies and procedures.
• Provides patient and family education.

Job Requirements

• Associate’s Degree in Nursing
• Licensed by the State of North Dakota Board of Nursing (RN)
• American Heart Association Certification for Basic Life Support (BLS) and Neonatal Resuscitation Program (NRP), completed within 6 months of start.

We are offering a $35,000 Sign-On Bonus until July 1st, 2026 to new hires who meet the eligibility requirements.

Pay Range

• $35.62 - $52.99 /hour
