About the Role

Elderwood at Lancaster is seeking experienced Registered Nurse Supervisors for day, evening, and overnight shifts. In this role, you will provide clinical oversight, guide nursing employees, and help ensure residents receive coordinated, high-quality care throughout your shift. You will remain closely connected to residents and daily clinical practice while partnering with nursing leadership to support staff development, clinical quality, and regulatory readiness.

Schedule

  • Days: 6:00 a.m.–2:00 p.m.
  • Evenings: 2:00 p.m.–10:00 p.m. (additional $5.00/hour shift differential)
  • Overnights: 10:00 p.m.–6:00 a.m. (additional $1.00/hour shift differential)

Evening and overnight differentials apply seven days a week. Specific schedules and weekend requirements will be reviewed during the interview process.

Pay

$51.00 – $53.30 per hour.

Responsibilities

Clinical Leadership

  • Supervise nursing care services and nursing personnel across assigned units
  • Conduct rounds and provide clinical support and guidance to staff
  • Monitor resident conditions and ensure timely communication of changes
  • Assist with admissions, evaluations, care planning, and resident oversight
  • Support safe medication administration and treatment delivery

Staff Support & Operations

  • Assist with staffing coordination and assignment adjustments
  • Provide coaching, feedback, and support to nursing staff
  • Ensure documentation, workflows, and assignments are completed appropriately
  • Participate in shift-to-shift communication and operational updates
  • Promote a collaborative, respectful, team-focused environment

Quality & Compliance

  • Help maintain compliance with facility policies, CMS standards, and nursing regulations
  • Support infection prevention and facility safety initiatives
  • Assist with incident response, emergency procedures, and survey readiness
  • Participate in QAPI and performance improvement efforts

Requirements

  • Possession of a state license and current registration to practice as a Registered Professional Nurse or Licensed Practical Nurse
  • Minimum of two (2) years of nursing experience and at least one (1) year of experience in a nursing leadership role
  • Interest or experience in geriatrics
  • Current BLS/CPR certification
  • Experience with dementia population desirable
  • Ability to read, write, speak, and understand the English language at an intermediate or advanced level
