About the Role

This role involves assessing, planning, implementing, and evaluating educational activities related to nursing clinical areas across the continuum of care.

Responsibilities

• Serve as a strategic consultant for nursing performance initiatives, creating and evaluating competency-based programs and delivery mechanisms.
• Collaborate with leaders and staff to identify educational needs and develop appropriate plans and programs.
• Utilize tools and methods to measure the achievement of learning goals.
• Consult on the development and evaluation of Nursing Professional Development (NPD) programs supporting core competencies.
• Manage performance and competency standards for inter-professional programs to promote optimal practice at the highest licensure level.

Requirements

• Current RN licensure by the Alabama Board of Nursing.
• Diploma from an accredited nursing school or college.
• BLS Provider certification within 30 days of hire, accepted from AHA or Red Cross.
