RN Nursing Coordinator - Maternity / 0.9 FTE / Day

About the role

This position involves providing clinical nursing care in an office and patient care environment, working with all age groups and ensuring compliance with infection control policies.

Responsibilities

• Deliver patient care, support clinical procedures, and maintain a safe environment.
• Adhere to infection control policies and utilize PPE as required.
• Perform frequent walking, standing, bending, and lifting in a fast-paced setting with interruptions.
• Work closely with colleagues and patients in proximity, ensuring confidentiality and security of patient information (Level 4 access).

Qualifications & Skills

• Graduate of an accredited Nursing school with a Bachelor's degree in Nursing.
• At least two years of clinical nursing experience.
• Current NY State RN license and CPR certification.
• Completion of professional certification in relevant specialty within 3 years; current certification preferred.
• Prior leadership experience is a plus.

Work Environment

Occurs in an air-conditioned/heated office and patient care areas, requiring frequent physical activity and exposure to disinfectants.
