About the Role
Provide expert, family-centered care for newborns in a hospital nursery.
Responsibilities
- Perform detailed newborn assessments and monitor for complications.
- Administer medications and treatments as needed.
- Assist with deliveries and immediate post-birth care.
- Educate and support parents on newborn care and breastfeeding.
- Document thoroughly in the EMR and collaborate with healthcare team members including physicians, midwives, and lactation consultants.
Requirements
- Current RN licensure.
- Experience in neonatal or newborn care preferred.
- Strong assessment, communication, and collaboration skills.
- Ability to provide compassionate, family-centered care in a fast-paced environment.
