About the role
The nursery nurse provides medical care, infant care, guidance to parents, and encourages the development of young children.
Responsibilities
- Provide medical care to newborns and young children
- Deliver infant care including monitoring health and development
- Offer guidance and support to parents on infant care practices
- Encourage and support the developmental progress of young children
- Collaborate with obstetricians, gynecologists, and labor and delivery nurses
- Examine, treat, and monitor the health of newborns
