About the role
Provides autonomous and collaborative patient care by diagnosing, treating, and managing health conditions across various settings. Functions as a researcher, consultant, and advocate for individuals, families, groups, and communities. Performs comprehensive assessments and manages illnesses within scope of practice.
Responsibilities
- Develops care plans aligned with protocols to ensure quality care.
- Utilizes prescriptive authority, referrals, procedures, and treatments in compliance with laws.
- Enhances nursing practice quality and effectiveness.
- Contributes to professional development of peers and provides clinical leadership.
- Supports lifelong learning and completes assigned goals.
Qualifications
- Minimum education: Master's or Doctoral degree as a nurse practitioner.
- Computer literacy required; preferred additional technical skills.
- Current nurse practitioner certification with prescription privileges.
- Registered Nurse (RN) licensure required.
