About the role

The role involves providing inpatient and outpatient care to high-risk obstetric patients, including those requiring intensive care management, and offering consultative services for pregnant and postpartum patients.

Responsibilities

• leading the development of evidence-based critical care protocols
• building and directing a joint Maternal-Fetal Medicine (MFM)-Critical Care fellowship program
• expanding tele-critical care capacity across a regional network
• educating medical students, residents, and fellows
• participating in research activities

Qualifications

• MD or DO
• board certification or eligibility in OB-GYN and Maternal-Fetal Medicine
• critical care experience preferred
• competence in maternal medicine, prenatal diagnosis, and critical care management
• commitment to medical education, quality improvement, and health equity
