About the role

Provides autonomous and collaborative healthcare to treat and manage patients' health issues in various settings, including research, consultation, and advocacy roles for individuals, families, and communities. Performs comprehensive assessments, diagnoses, and manages illnesses and diseases.

Responsibilities

  • Develops care plans within the nurse practitioner's scope using written protocols to ensure quality care.
  • Utilizes prescriptive authority, procedures, referrals, and treatments in compliance with laws and regulations.
  • Enhances nursing practice quality and effectiveness.
  • Contributes to professional development of peers and colleagues.
  • Provides clinical leadership and supports lifelong learning.
  • Completes assigned goals.

Qualifications

  • Master's or Doctoral degree as a nurse practitioner (minimum requirement).
  • Computer literacy (minimum requirement).
  • Current nurse practitioner certification with prescribing privileges or eligibility.
  • Registered Nurse (RN) licensure (minimum requirement).
