Part Time Ambulatory Nurse II OB-Gyn Maternal Fetal Medicine

About the Role

This position is in the Maternal Fetal Medicine practice located at the Hospital of the University of Pennsylvania. The primary role is to provide complex care coordination, emotional support, and education to women experiencing high-risk pregnancies. Responsibilities include telephone triage, patient portal management, result review and follow-up, diabetic care coordination, treatment plan and medication education, appointment scheduling, and administrative tasks associated with care coordination and management.

The incumbent will also be trained in the antenatal testing unit, which provides non-stress tests, biophysical profiles, and related diagnostic testing. Additionally, the role involves nursing support and coordination for High Risk OB office and specialty sessions, as well as participation in practice-based meetings and/or committees.

This is a part-time position, 27 hours a week, divided into three 9-hour shifts. Specific hours are based on operational needs. Once oriented, a hybrid schedule may be supported if operationally feasible.

Requirements

• Diploma or ASN from an accredited school of nursing (Required).
• BSN from an accredited school of nursing (Preferred).
• More than 15 months of relevant professional nursing experience (Required).

Qualifications

• RN with State Licensure (Required).
• BLS from the AHA (Required).
• Certification in Specialty (Preferred).

Schedule

Part-time, 27 hours a week, divided into three 9-hour shifts (Monday through Friday). Specific hours based on operational needs.
