Job Summary
Autonomously and collaboratively treats and manages patient health problems, serving as researchers, consultants, and patient advocates in various healthcare settings.
Job Responsibilities
- Develops a plan of care within the scope of the nurse practitioner role, using written protocols to ensure quality patient care.
- Utilizes prescriptive authority, procedures, referrals, treatments, and theories in compliance with state and federal laws and regulations.
- Enhances the quality and effectiveness of nursing practice.
- Interacts with and supports the professional development of peers and colleagues.
- Provides clinical leadership.
- Supports lifelong learning.
- Completes assigned goals.
Experience
- Minimum required: 1 year clinical experience in a primary care setting as a nurse practitioner.
Education
- Minimum required: Master’s or Doctoral degree as a nurse practitioner.

Licensure
- Current certification as a nurse practitioner.

- Eligible for or has a certificate of fitness/prescription privileges.
