Registered Nurse Clinical Lead Oncology
About the role
Deliver high-quality nursing care in a fast-paced environment serving a diverse patient population, including oncology, post-surgical, and medical-surgical patients.
Provide comprehensive, patient-centered care across the full oncology continuum, including pre-treatment, active treatment, and post-treatment phases.
Manage post-operative oncology patients (e.g., mastectomy patients), including surgical site assessment, complication prevention, and comprehensive discharge education with a focus on wound care and recovery.
Safely administer and monitor chemotherapy and immunotherapy/biotherapy treatments, ensuring adherence to evidence-based protocols and vigilant management of treatment-related side effects.
Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to support complex care needs, including symptom management, palliative care, and hospice services, while providing compassionate education and support to patients and families.

Requirements
- Licensure / Certification / Registration: BLS Provider obtained within 1 Month (30 days) of hire date or job transfer date reqired. American Heart Association or American Red Cross accepted.
- Registered Nurse credentialed from the Tennessee Board of Nursing obtained prior to hire date or job transfer date required.
- Education Required professional licensure/certification AND 1 year of cumulative job specific experience required.
Preferences
- Must be NIHSS certified within the first 3 months of hire.
- Chemo Certification required within 6-months of hire.
